Eliza a computer program designed by Joseph Weizenbaum that mimics human conversation by looking for simple grammatical structures and keywords. In the 1960’s Eliza was able to trick many individuals into thinking they were having human interactions. Since her creation Eliza has inspired many other language processing computer programs. Recently Apple has released Siri a personal assistant who like Eliza uses language to mimic human interaction and help you in your searches.
